Ahmed Elkaryoni, MD, FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist specializing in complex coronary and structural/valvular heart interventions. Originally from Alexandria, Egypt, he earned a medical degree at the Alexandria School of Medicine before completing training in echocardiography research at the University of Alabama, an internal medicine residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, a cardiology fellowship at Loyola University Chicago, and advanced interventional training at Brown University.

Dr. Elkaryoni performs a range of advanced procedures, including complex coronary interventions, transcatheter valve repair and replacement, and minimally invasive closure of heart defects. His clinical expertise spans coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, pulmonary embolism, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

A dedicated researcher and educator, Dr. Elkaryoni has authored over 65 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for several leading cardiovascular journals. He is also a frequent faculty member at major national and international cardiology conferences. His work has been featured in prominent journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), and Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA).

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Elkaryoni enjoys exploring Oklahoma with his wife, Allison.
